The short version

DoMyQR.com processes nothing. The QR code content you enter — WiFi passwords, contact details, URLs, messages — is handled entirely in your browser and is never sent to or stored on any server. We do not collect it, see it or have any access to it.

What data we collect

We do not collect personal data beyond what is gathered automatically by standard web analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site in aggregate — things like which pages are visited, which countries traffic comes from and how long sessions last. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.

We may also run Google AdSense to display advertising. If ads are enabled, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ad Settings.

Cookies

DoMyQR.com itself does not set cookies. If Google Analytics or Google AdSense are active, those services may set their own cookies as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Your QR code content

Everything you type into the QR generator — including URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details and message text — is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is transmitted to our servers. We do not store, log or have any access to the information you use to create a QR code.

Third-party services

The site uses the open-source qrcode-generator library, loaded from the Cloudflare CDN. No personal data is passed to Cloudflare beyond the standard network request your browser makes to load the file. We may in future enable Google Analytics and Google AdSense; if we do, their respective privacy policies apply to the data those services collect.

Data retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Aggregate analytics data (if enabled) is held by Google under their data retention policies.

Your personal data is never sold

We do not sell, trade or transfer personal data to any third party for commercial purposes. Full stop.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
